I am glad I found this, I was getting ready to pull the trigger on another pretreater that was triple the price of this one. My order arrived faster than I expected and I can not say enough good things about it or the customer service I got. It is very sturdy and sprays the pretreat very good! I pretreat all my shirts in batches and being able to stack them is helpful along with the laser it is very fast.
Have been using this workhorse heavily every day since we took delivery back in July of 2019. We have had one issue caused by our own laziness, we left solution in the machine over a weekend which resulted in a clogged nozzle. Maintenance is key, as with any other tool/equipment in your shop. I got my King Cobra in December after my Spider Mini broke down again. In fairness, it was 5 years old. In any case, Cory at King Cobra was very helpful. It’s obvious that he really cares. He even answered my texts about the machine at night and on the weekend.
He actually customized the machine to better fit my needs. The machine is outstanding. I average about 20 to 30 prints a day and on some days during the holiday season, and on custom jobs, have done over 100. I just love this machine.
I was initially concerned about the open design, as opposed to the box style pretreat machine I was accustomed to, but have found overspray to be practically nonexistent. In addition, the check valve filter ensures that the nozzle never gets clogged and doesn’t drip.
Start up and clean up are incredibly fast and easy. There is absolutely no waste of pretreat solution. With my Spider Mini, the entire inside of the box was coated with pretreat. The King Cobra sprays only a defined area on the shirt.
The machine stays clean and looks as good as when I first got it.
The box design of my old machine allowed the exposed rails to touch and stain the shirt. That never happens with the King Cobra. because the shirt lays on a nice flat clean plastic bed, no tucking required.
Remarkably, the price is only about one third of what you might expect to pay for a good box style machine.
Better, cleaner performance, and great customer service for one third the price?
Sounds impossible, but it’s the truth. It just doesn’t get any better than than that.
