05:1
Place your feed line into a jug of clean water.

05:2
Press and hold the purge button (Green or Blue (P) LED Switch) on the front panel of the machine, make sure to hold a cup under the nozzle to catch the water.
Proper PRIMING Instructions
It is important to properly prime your machine to ensure that no air is in the system. When testing each King Cobra we purge approximately 17oz (Normal Size Water Bottle) of water before we begin running the machine. Please purge as follows:
1. With the nozzle pointed into a water bottle or cup, purge the system until fluid starts to spray and then release the purge button.
2. Rapidly Press & Release the purge button and then hold the purge button for a few seconds.
3. Repeat step 2 until you have filled up the water bottle.

05:3
Place a blank shirt on to the platen, we recommend using a shirt that will contrast liquid well.

05:4
Press the purge button very quickly to spray the shirt with a little bit of water. This will give you start point of where the machine will start spraying. Adjust the laser to the starting point of spray on the shirt.
Your machine is now set up!
Tip!
If the nozzle produces a few drips after spraying or does not instantly stop spraying, this indicates that there is still air in the system. The best way to eliminate this is to twist off the nozzle and purge the system for a few seconds. We have found in some instances that air gets trapped around the filter strainer causing this issue.
What we recommend!
Remove the feed line from the water jug and purge out all the water by holding the purge button. Once you have emptied the machine, do a few practice runs to get use to how the machine works before priming the machine with your pretreatment. Please see the video below to see how the machine operates.
For darker shirts, set your speed control between 0-10 on the speed dial. This will lay the most pretreatment down. For light pretreatment set your speed higher.
Also make sure to head over to the maintenance page to see how to care for your machine.
